Easter Falling On April 20 As In This Year (i.e., 2025) Is Rare. Last Time Was 2014, Next Time 2087!

Easter, on April 20, as in this year (i.e., 2025) is quite rare. I had NOT appreciated that until I started doing this post. WOW.

That the next one is in 2087 is mind-blowing.

Wow. I sure will not be around for that.

So last time was in 2014, and prior to that 2003 (as you can see from the 2nd image, above). 

11-year gaps like that are common — & the '11' here has to do with the 7-days in a week coupled with leap-years every 4-years.

The 62 gap before the next one is quite rare!

Easter, your quintessential ‘movable feast’ can fall between March 22 (since it HAS to be after the Spring Equinox) and April 25 (i.e., essentially the 28-day lunar month).

Easter is NEXT Sunday.
