Conclave 2025: Options For Enforcing The 120 Cardinal Elector Limit.

The cardinals, in a General Congregation, WILL HAVE to DECIDE how they are going to handle this 120 cardinal elector limit on Monday, April 28, 2025 (or the next day). They can't delay it too long because there are LOGISTICAL issues that have to be tackled, e.g., more beds, more tables etc. & even MORE importantly, where to put them. 

They have TWO broad options. Either to STICK with the Constitution & enforce the 120 limit or opt to IGNORE it knowing that it is unconstitutional.

My druthers is that they will IGNORE it (i.e., let ALL attend) though I hope that is NOT the case.

If they opt to enforce the 120 limit they have 4 options as I spell out above.

Selecting 120 BY LOT (with exemptions for about 5 designated/named officials) might be the fairest & least controversial among the CARDINALS. 

Selection by LOT is the NORM at conclaves. For a start that is how the rooms are allocated (again with a few exemptions). So that would be seen as the FAIREST with the HOLY SPIRIT, of course, GUIDING who gets selected. 😇

Well, I have now given you all the scenarios. We should know what they decided in the next couple of days.
