OK, my VERY FIRST thoughts, before I got to see the videos, was 'Pan Am Lockerbie'.

But, there was NO mid-air explosion.

The plane glided down, with LANDING GEAR DOWN, fully intact -- until it hit the buildings.

OK, loss of power.

Could it have been CONTAMINATED FUEL?
