'Taylorville' Band in 'Concord', NH, last night was terrific. WOW! Click to ENLARGE. |
Wow! What a treat. Not too many 70 year olds, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were a lot of kids & they LOVED IT. So glad for them. Great show. Bravo.
Given it is a tribute they didn't 'glamorize' the singer (though she brought out her young son (4ish) to do a small skit with her). I since found out that she is 'Sinead Fahey'. She was very, very good. Put her heart & soul into it. Worked hard. Could not have been easy. She changed costumes at least 7 times. Then she did a FREE aftershow where folks could take pictures with her & she signed 'merch'. There was a very long line of folks to meet with her. I like it when artists do this. Really good for the kids.
This was the 15th musical show I have been to this year! Six or seven were tribute bands. This was by FAR the BEST -- by a long chalk.
I haven't seen much of 'Taylor Swift' myself. I am a fairly recent fan. So, I am NOT an expert BUT it sounded and looked good. The audience, much, much more savvy than I appeared to have no issues. So, it must have been on the mark.
I am a professional cynic. So, with today's technology, I often wonder if some of these tribute bands 'cheat'. Possible. I don't know.
But, she was good. I enjoyed it. Best show I have been to this year. Would definitely go to another of their shows.
Thank YOU.
