All the 'Red Pine' Trees On Our Beach Are Dead & Have To Be Cut Down -- Invasive Bug Damage.

Though I am surrounded by trees -- or MAYBE because I am surrounded by trees -- I tend to be tree BLIND, i.e., I don't pay them much attention. Trees aren't my thing. I like trees, I like having trees around me -- but they don't interest me much. SMILE & Sorry. My ignorance about trees can be STAGGERING. 

Yes, I had kind of noticed that these trees were brown for many years. Never registered they were dead! 

I only found out, a couple of days ago, when an outfit was at the beach to cut them down.

One of them gave me a great tutorial on Red Pines & the invasive bugs.

Wow.

Appears quite a LOT of Red Pines around here have been attacked over the last few years -- & are now dead.

I really need to pay more attention.
