'Fidelity' Makes Two-Factor Authentication At Login MANDATORY.

Yes, YOU no longer have an option. IF you turn-it ON, you can NEVER turn-it OFF. You used to be able to. I know. I would turn it on & off. NOT ANYMORE.

I checked with Fidelity. They confirmed, emphatically. Two-Factor Authentication is now going to be the NORM & compulsory. NO opting out.

Plus, they are, at least for now, having issues with TRUSTED DEVICES when it comes to Desktops (i.e., PCs). This means you have to AUTHENTICATE each & every time!

Also, there is no way to specify that you want to authenticate via TXT message. You have to explicitly select that.

Yes, ANNOYING + time consuming.

But to be FAIR. Better safe, than sorry.

Just letting you know. OK?

Check with Fidelity IF you are a customer.
