'Legends' & 'Unchosen': Two New British Miniseries Now On 'Netflix'. Not The Greatest, But Compelling Enough.

'IMDB.com' listings -- 'Legends' & 'Unchosen'.
I watched them, back-to-back, recently. They were both 6 episodes each.

Very different stories, but both very British in their own way. I was NOT aware of either of the 'scenarios' portrayed -- though I was in Britain during the undercover operations portrayed in 'Legends'. I was not a news junkie in those days. So, that could explain why I didn't have a clue about this rather amazing story. It is said to be based on true events. Some parts in the series look contrived. Maybe they had to do that to keep it watchable.

'Unchosen' was a revelation to I. I had no idea that Britain had such cults. According to the miniseries there are over 2,000 such cults. Wow. Very American. So very American. I had to continually remind myself that this was set in Britain. They even had hand guns.

They were both OK. Not great. There were times when I had to persevere. But, I am glad I watched them both -- in their entirety. I learnt a LOT. A lot. And that always makes me happy.

Cheers. 😇
