'The Choral' (2025) Movie On 'Netflix' -- Good, But NOT As Good As I Hoped It Would Be; Ending Was Flaccid.

I had heard about this award nominated movie. I was eager to see it. So, I was delighted when it appeared on 'Netflix' a couple of weeks ago 'As Coming Soon'. I watched it as soon as it became available.

I was closely involved with a choral for three-years a decade ago. NO, I did NOT sing. I can't sing. But, my daughter was a high-profile member. She was too young to drive so I had to attend all the sessions & got very involved with them. It was fun. I like choral music.

Some of the music in this British movie was divine. I would REWIND & listen over-&-over. It was that good. That was definitely an highpoint. Overall the music was top rate.

85% of it was good. Poignant. Good British humor.

Wow, they depicted some obese men for the period. Was not pretty.

Ending was a let down. I am surprised. 

Yes, it was WWI movie, but it could have ended more positively.

But, overall, I still enjoyed it. Well, produced but for the ending.
