Happened to catch that, as a part of an interview, when a Nobel Prize Laureate (in Economics) who was being interviewed mentioned it when asked IF the medal on display in his office was the real one. Wow.

I had NO IDEA. Had never heard of this before.

Now, so much makes sense.

I immediately thought of that infamous Nobel Peace Prize medal that had to be 'donated' ...

So, she has, at a minimum, an official replica. Wow. I am so glad. I felt bad for her.

Better still, she still has the ORIGINAL but donated one of the replicas! That would be hilarious. 😀
