New Hampshire: Tomorrow (i.e., Dec. 12th) Is The SHORTEST EVENING Of Year.

Base table is from 'timeanddate.com'.

NOT the SHORTEST DAY. That will be December 21st -- the Winter Solstice.

December 12th will be the shortest evening -- i.e., earliest sunset. As of December 13 sunsets will be later each day -- though very gradually.

But, sunrises continue to be later & later until the solstice.

Basically, sunrise & sunset, in our latitude, is not symmetrical when it comes to Daylength. Hence, this discrepancy.

Now that I have told you, keep an eye on it. On December 13th sunset will be 1 minute later than it was on Dec. 12.

But, of course, the JACKPOT is the solstice.

10 days away. 😇
