I happened to see this 'UK ETA' mandatory requirement on an e-mail this morning and it immediately got my attention. I must have 'heard' about it before & not taken much notice ... Well, this morning I did.

So much for impetuous travel, BUT then again really not that different to requiring a visa to visit a country. I sure hope AIRLINES make sure you have this ETA before they let you buy a ticket. Otherwise it could become a very frustrating, disruptive and expensive trip.

Yes, US-UK dual citizenship holders don't need an ETA as long as they have their UK passport to prove right of entry. That is how it should be. Can't deny a UK citizen entry -- unless there is something majorly wrong.
