'Murder of Crows' -- I Am Sure I Had Never Run Across That Collective Term.

I came across a couple of days ago on 'Facebook'. As can often be the case with Facebook, the meme that talked about a 'Murder of Crows' only showed two crows. Many rightly pointed out that this was wrong. You needed at least three for it to be a true murder.

I had thought that over the years I had, one way or another, come across ALL the unusual collective terms -- especially the truly bizarre ones like 'bloat of hippos' & a 'prickle of porcupines'. I can't remember coming across this. I am sure I would have remembered.

Now that I went looking, it is very well known & appears in nearly all the lists. So I am confused why I appear to have missed it.

So, I wanted to make sure I gave you a heads up. Now YOU know. That makes me feel better.
