'Carry-On' (2024) Movie On 'Netflix' -- Too Many Holes When It Comes To Reality Thus Spoiling It For Me.
For 'IMDb.com' listing. Takes too much liberty with REALITY. In other words there are too many scenarios and scenes that are so implausible. The one that bugged me the most. First day in his new, ON PROBATION job as a TSA baggage screener. He puts an earpiece in his ear and then starts talking. He is TALKING while screening the belt. His supervisor is on a nearby podium -- in particular keeping an eye on him as it is his first day in this new job. And he is TALKING NON-STOP. Passengers alone would think that was strange. Plus he is freely using his phone, getting coffee ... Come on. Christmas Eve. Plus the flight with the 'bomb'. Christmas Eve. LAX -- i.e., Los Angeles airport. No traffic ahead of it! Just pushback. Taxi to the runway & takeoff. COME ON. Defies credibility. I watched it, BUT was disappointed. To I it was like a comedy. I like my THRILLERS to be realistic. Plausible. THIS ONE WAS NOT. You might like it. I didn't. 😀 |
