I finally, this morning, after waiting since October, got the option to install Windows 11 24H2.
This is my BACKUP/TEST PC. So, I was going to try it out on this before I even dreamed about thinking about it for my main PC. 😎
So, with some trepidation, I gave it a try.
It went smoothly. No drama. Nothing unexpected. The ONLY change I noticed, ONCE it was installed, was that my icon for 'SETTINGS' had disappeared from the TASKBAR. Strange & stupid! Hard to miss. I needed to find SETTINGS to make sure everything was OK. Easy enough to fix. It was in the START 'menu' & one right click.

Took 3 minutes over ONE HOURS for the entire INSTALL -- Start to Finish.
But, this mini-PC is on a WIRED, 1G Internet connection. So, the download might have been quicker than for most.
So here are the timings IF it helps:
1:57pm -- Click START to download & Install.
2:36pm -- Install FINISHED.
2:37pm -- Ready for 1st RESTART.
2:59m -- Restart done. Ready to Logon.
3:00pm -- Logon complete.
