'Jeju Air', South Korea Plane Crash -- NO Standards, NO Inspections For International Airports?

Click here for link to 'CNBC' article. Google for MORE.
I don't get it.

All the 'experts' are now asking why there was this SOLID, concrete barrier at the end of the runway. They are saying that there should NOT have been anything that solid at the end of a runway.

We are ONLY finding out about that now?

How is that possible? This was an International flight, i.e., from Thailand. That makes it an International airport.

I can't believe that there are NO STANDARDS for International airports. You can't just build one to local standards. That doesn't make sense.

PLUS, International airports are NOT inspected, on a regular basis, to make sure that they meet all standards?

This is crazy. This does not make sense.

This needs to be looked into.

Puzzled & far from amused.
