Three days ago, for the first time ever, I had to switch it to my right wrist.
My left wrist is in BAD SHAPE. Skin is burnt through.
I am NOT happy. But, I am also not happy wearing my watch on my right wrist. Just can't get used to it.
I have turned OFF all the SENSORS on the watch! I really don't need to see my heart rate. I kind of know what it is.
All I need my watch to do is: tell me the TIME, day, STEPS, STAIRS & sunset/sunrise.
Don't know why but over the years I have become accustomed to seeing sunset/sunrise on my wrist. I don't check them daily, BUT I do reference them multiple times a week. I like to know that they are there ... right there on my wrist.
So, this is the plan. I, for the last 5 years at a minimum, have always worn nylon, velcro straps. I put a new strap on today (& ordered 2 new ones (because I am out of black straps)) though the problem is NOT from the strap. It is from the sensor and body of the watch.
I also ordered some 'good', cotton sweatbands for the wrist. I am going to wear the Garmin over the sweatband with the sensors OFF! I will still get all of what I need.
I will, in the coming weeks, let you know how my wrist is doing. Wish me luck. I think I am going to need it. Thanks.
😇
