This Friday, Feb. 28 Will Be 12th Anniversary Of Benedict XVI's (Historic) Resignation -- Is Francis Waiting Till Then?

If Francis intends to resign he might as well do it soon.

I am not sure what he can gain by delaying it -- & that, of course, is ASSUMING he is thinking of resigning. He, from day one of his papacy, maintained that he will resign if he was unable to carry on (effectively) as pope.

Friday, February 28, will also mark 2-weeks of him being hospitalized.

  The pope is NOT well.  

His health issues are not confined to his lungs, i.e., respiratory. Yes, we know he had intestinal surgery. There is something MORE ... He is BLOATED. Why doesn't anyone comment on that. Look at his face. His face is HUGE. Twice what it used to be. Something is not right. I have been saying THIS for months. (See this Dec. 27, 2024 post).

I hope Francis is NOT waiting until Feb. 28 to resign.

It would create a DREADFUL precedent.

  February 28 -- the Day That Popes Resign!  

Not good.
