They were fun. Very committed, personable & energetic. It was very clear that they wanted to PLEASE. That possibly at least 30% of the 100+ crowd were family & friends must have been a factor & you could feel it. I heard someone say 'intimate'. Yes, it felt more like a big wedding as opposed to a concert. Suffice to say there was a lot of dancing & the bass player (who wore a clerical collar some of the time) came down to dance with his 'sisters'. Folks were commenting on how good he was.

There was a friar is full garb. He was having fun -- as did everyone else.

I was happy I went. Was a last minute decision. I enjoyed it.

Good, rollicking music per their claim that they are "New England's most rollicking band of traditional musicians". I can't attest to the total veracity of that boast, but I would concur that they are definitely up there. Definitely a lot of fun.

Shame St. Patrick's Day, this year, was on a Monday. This would have been even better if it was on the day, rather than the Eve. But, we have nothing to really complain about.

When the show finished around 7:45, after 2.5 encores, many stayed behind & milled around. The performers, & there were 13 on the stage for the last few songs, came down & mingled. This was a family get together with ALL welcomed and accepted.

I wish they luck, though they don't need it. They will do fine.

😇
