'Dutch House' By 'Ann Patchett': I Thoroughly Enjoyed Listening To It. I Definitely Recommend It.

Another author I had never heard of, BUT sure glad that I now know about her. She TOO attended the famed "Iowa Writers' Workshop". It appears I have a particular affinity to those that have studied there.

I got an e-mail from 'Audible' with this book as a recommendation -- & at a SALE price of (I think) $3.99. Though I still had 12 unused credit, it was a tempting price. I knew I would be finishing the book I was listening to (which was GARBAGE (i.e., 'Nest Egg')) & would be needing a new book (though I still had 3 unlistened books in the library).

I real enjoyed the book. Very compellingly told. Nothing fancy or convoluted. Just a intriguing, but believable story, WELL TOLD. I was sad as it was coming towards the end (though I will confess I was not thrilled with her last two paragraphs).

I looked her up. Impressive. I plan to get another of her books.
