'Deacon King Kong' Book By 'James McBride', THE BEST Yarn I Have Heard In Maybe My Whole Life!

What a story. So intricate, so interleaved. Brilliant. And what STYLE! His style is beyond unique & so, so compelling. I am hooked. Actually I already was. This was his 3rd book I have listened to, on 'Audible', since last October. And they are not short books either.

Well, he is DULY famous & respected. I, as ever, was just late in getting to hear about him. Sure glad I did.

I so much enjoyed this book.

Can't work out whether I would have enjoyed as much IF I had read it. Yes, there was a few times I needed to go back to check on what had been said previously. I ended up just rewinding & going through the chapters.

I can't recommend it highly enough. You really should check it out & Mr. McBride. Best storyteller alive? I kind of think he is!
