Yes, the dogs have had ticks on them for the last 2 weeks. But they are on 'Simparica Trio' & the ticks do not attach & finally fall off. I wish I could take Simparica Trio. It seems to work awesome. The dogs have been on it for the last 4 years & I don't think we have had a single tick attached to them.
I might have got my two ticks today from one or both of the dogs.
I did NOT go in the woods today. Yes, they could have come from a branch.
They were NOT attached -- & I am glad of that. The first got washed off me in the shower. I saw it on a soap ledge. The 2nd fell off my shoulder when I was drying myself.
Glad that they were NOT attached -- BUT I was not amused.
I hate ticks. I get ticks on me all the time -- every year.
A few years ago I had like 20 on me one morning after my daily morning walk!
I also think that by now, after 25+ years of getting tick bites, that I had to have acquired some immunity. Folks say that that is NOT the case. That you don't acquire immunity.
I just hope I don't catch Lyme. I will NOT be happy. Probably will kill me given my old age & poor health.
