The Rushed Election Of 'Pope Leo XIV' Makes Me Uneasy -- Not That That Matters A Jot.

This has nothing to do with me being DEAD WRONG as to who might be elected. I am totally cool with having got it totally & absolutely wrong. He would never have been on my list.

It is also the case that whoever is pope is NO SKIN off my nose & I have no skin, whatsoever, in the game. I am totally & utterly areligious. 

I do, however, love the intrigue, the history, the process, the mechanics & the politics.

I spelled out my concerns in the graphic. It should be clear enough.

That his brother says that they were talking about his Papal Name, i.e., Leo, the NIGHT BEFORE the conclave is disturbing. NOT a single ballot had been cast & they kind of knew he was going to be pope. Why bother having a conclave.

Would appear that some group, very well organized, was behind this election. Probably a liberal leaning faction though it appears the LGBTQ2+ faction is now not happy with this pope.

Neither are the U.S. MAGA folks.

We could get a schism.

Exciting.
