First round, in the evening of the 1st Day of a Conclave is ALWAYS OPTIONAL.

With 133 electors we have 18 more electors than in 2013 or 2005.

That means each round of voting will take longer, probably 20 to 30 minutes than in the last two conclaves.

They appear to have SHORTENED the oaths.

Today's initial oaths, ahead of the 'Extra Omens', only took about 20 minutes LONGER than 2013. [You can find all the times 'Appendix A' of my 'The Conclave' book.]

But, each 2 round SESSION will now last 3 hours or slightly more.

The electors will TIRE of that soon. Conclaves are TEDIOUS. After the 2nd day they will be in a HURRY to wrap up things.
