When The Pope Is Younger Than YOU -- YOU Know You Have To Be REAL, REAL OLD!

Given that I grew up in Britain I was very used to the saying about 'policemen' -- & as I became older I saw the validity of that. It is true in the US too. Look around. I think it applies across the globe. When you notice it, i.e., that policemen look you, you have got old.

But for the first time in my life I have a Pope who is younger than I.

Wow!

Quite sobering.

Yes, I am VERY OLD. I know that. I look that. I feel that. I never, ever, imagined that I would live to be this old.

First pope to be born AFTER WWII.

Just remember my new definition. It will serve you well.
