AMAZON/KDP Now Delivering (Paperback) Author Copies In DAYS -- Rather Than Weeks!

This, i.e., them deliberately slowing down author copy shipments, was one of my pet peeves. You knew what they were hoping. They wanted us to get desperate & order copies full price (albeit then getting royalties off those sales).

For the last few years I have been waiting 3-weeks for author copies.

Once I got used to that I made sure that I would try to have some copies always at hand.

But, this was one heck of a VERY PLEASANT surprise.

4-days -- for full-color books.

5-days for a order of 10, a mix of four books.

The irony is that I had read that Amazon has started cutting KDP staff. Yes, I understand that printing is highly automated.

But this is GOOD. I am happy.

I just wanted you to know. OK? 😇
