I hate the Summer Solstice. I hate the Summer Solstice with a vengeance.

I dread the Summer Solstice.

Makes me MAD when (ignorant) people in New England embrace it.

The Summer Solstice is BAD NEWS for US in New England.

Don't YOU GET IT? Have YOU ever thought about it.

The Summer Solstice signals that we are, inexorably, headed towards WINTER.

As of TOMORROW, yes, tomorrow, Days start getting shorter! Within a month we would have lost minutes. Sunset will come sooner & sooner.

Our ancestors got it right.

The HAPPIEST DAY of the Year has to be the Winter Solstice.

The very next day the days start getting LONGER.

The Winter Solstice signals that HAPPY DAYS are coming. Days get longer. Warm weather is coming.

NOT so with the bloody Summer Solstice.
