Had Our Driveway Sealed Today -- Properly, The Old-Fashioned Way.

NO, I didn't do it myself! Not something that appeals to I. More than happy to pay a professional.

This was a local, 'old' guy (though he might have been younger than me).

He does most of the driveways on our dirt road. BUT he had gone 'missing' for quite a few years.

So, c. 2021 (just before COVID) I had to hire another outfit. That was a performance. But, it was wishy-washy. My blacktop wasn't really BLACK.

I like -- I want -- my blacktop be BLACK.

Not only does it look nice, BUT in the winter the BLACK absorbs what little sunlight we get & melts some of the snow & ice.

This ol' guy (& his sons) specialize in OLD-FASHIONED driveway sealing. I like that.

Not sure how his price compares. I didn't shop around.

He did it in less than three hours. Very little fuss.

WE ARE HAPPY. So that counts for something.
