The Last Time The '4th of July' Was On A Friday Was 11-Years Ago, In 2014.


Yep, 11-years ago. 2014.

Yes, in 2020 & in 2015, a Friday was a HOLIDAY -- but only because the actual 4th fell on a Saturday.

That it is a 11-year gap is a tad unusual, but it is nothing special.

11-year gaps in holidays like this has to do with Leap Years --> 7 days in a week & 4 years between Leap Years. So, that is the 7+4 combination that gives us these 11 year gaps.

Given that we had a 3-day 4th celebration just 5 years ago, we kind of know what a long weekend holiday feels like.
