I stopped eating chocolates on a regular basis about 12 years ago.
Prior to that I ate a fair amount. But NOTHING like I ate as a child. I ate SO MUCH chocolate & chocolate cake. I was eating ONE FULL chocolate cake a day in my early teens!
No wonder I am pre-diabetic.
I also joke that I am the color that I am because of ALL the chocolate I have eaten. Yes, I have even met women (mainly from Maine) who think I am made out of chocolate. Just imagine their disappointment when they realized that that wasn't (alas) the case.
These days I eat very, very, very little chocolate. I can't because of my diabetes.
But, every week, when I do my grocery shopping, I buy a LOT of chocolates.
I carry a supply of chocolates around with me -- at all times.
I give chocolates to folks that I meet. Even strangers -- mainly strangers.
Of course I have noticed that chocolate prices are going up -- quite a BIT.
So, this is good news for me.
Thank YOU Nestle.
