As some of you know, I like names & pay attention to them.

I am familiar with the surname 'Savage'. For a start one of the prominent early settlers in what is now the 'Acadia' area (of Maine) was a 'Savage'. So, a hill, south of the now Park used to be called "Savages Hill".

So, there is NOTHING wrong with 'Savage' as a name. Just one that has connotations.

I wonder what it must be like to grow up a 'Savage'. Couldn't be easy. So, I have much respect for those with that name.

Just struck me as AMUSING that we have a 'Savage' writing about War Crimes.

Actually a DECENT article. The name just made me smile.

Cheers.😊
