Have YOU Heard Of 'Spalting' -- Discoloration INSIDE A Tree Caused By Fungi.

I came across the word, i.e., 'Spalting', in a book I was listening to.

Though the book provided an explanation, I wanted to find out more because I was sure I have never heard that word before. PLUS, I wanted to see WHAT the discoloration looked like. In the book it said that she had found a pattern that reminded her of a map. So, I wanted to have a look.

Easy enough to find. Appears that it is well known among those that specialize in these types of things.

I am glad I went looking.
