Will 'GM' Continue To Sell 'Buicks' In The U.S.?

I never owned a 'Buick' until August of last year.

That is when I bought my 2025 'Buick Envision Avenier' in all black. I had done my research. I wanted the latest/greated fully built-in 'Google Infotainment System' -- i.e., 'Android AutoPlay' built into the car. Buick had the best integration. Yes, so did 'Cadillac' BUT they had discontinued their small SUVs in early 2025.

I love my Envision. It is NOT perfect, but it is heads-&-shoulders better than the accursed 2021 'Volvo XC60' I previously had. The Volvo was at least 15K more expensive. The Buick is NEARLY as good -- & doesn't give me all the grief that the Volvo did.

Appears GM retains Buick because it was very popular in China.

But, that has to be changing. They are going more and more EVs & they make a lot of attractive EVs in China.

So, I worry as to the future of Buick in the U.S. given the precipitous drop in sales.

Plus, Buick prices are UP.

Shame. I would, ideally, like to get a smaller Buick in place of my 2025 'Mazda CX30'. But, doubt whether that would work out in terms of price.

GM doesn't, in the U.S., need both Cadillac & Buick. Buick is basically the cheaper Cadillac. Kind of surprised that GM hasn't rationalized its car lineup.

Stay tuned. I think 2027 will be an interesting year for GM.
