Feel I Was LIED To As To The Frequency Of 'MacOS' Software Updates.

I decided to (painfully) transition from 'Windows 11' to 'Mac' because I could NO LONGER stand the unreliable, monthly 'Windows Update' process.

So, I did my best to research that I was not jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

Everything I read online assured me that the MacOS was updated sparingly -- just a few updates a month.

Well, I started using a Mac on March 14, 2026. That is (still) less than 2 months ago.

Yesterday, I finally moved my Mac onto my main desk -- to make it, officially, my main system.

No sooner had I finished that move when I got notification of an update.

MacOS Tahoe 26.5.

My fourth. I wasn't happy.

It wasn't quick. Took about 20 minutes -- as Apple had warned.

So, I am NO BETTER off than I was with Windows.

YIKES.

I can't win. HELP.

😓
