Finally Crossed The RUBICON! My New Mac System Displaces My PC On My Main Desk.

Wow. I am still in shock.

Today, I made the BIG SWITCHEROO. Displaced what had been my main PC system with my NEW 'Mac Mini' system. Wow.

I only started playing around with the Mac (after a 28 year gap) on March 14, 2026. So, slightly less than 2 months.

I am NOT 100% happy with the Mac.

The Mac still feels like a PAIN & it is too finicky & temperamental to my real liking. I do remember that I had issues with Macs 30 years ago too.

But, I have been STRUGGLING through, daily, on the Mac for over a month now.

I went for nearly two weeks without once using the PC. Wow.

I installed 'BitDefender' on both my PC systems yesterday to be on the safeside since I have managed, somehow, to disable UPDATES. It was the UPDATES that drove me away from Windows 11.

For me this was a BIG switch, a BIG move.

Hope it works out. The PC system works. I checked it out. So, I still have TWO PC systems to fall back on IF things go pear shaped.
