Yet again, I learnt about this from the 'BBC' yesterday. [I am so glad that I listen to BBC news at least 5 times a day.]

No more daily Statins (i.e., 'Lipitor or equivalent). One-and-Done. Just one procedure. That is it. Liver goes back to controlling cholesterol like it should.

Revolutionary. Amazing. Wow. I wish I could get it done -- & I speak of one who has been taking 'Lipitor', DAILY, for 28 years. Yes, 28 years -- & my cholesterol is still HIGH (given my abysmal diet). IF not for the daily Lipitor I probably would have been dead years ago.
