This was both a tragedy & a travesty.
What the heck happened?
I knew they had to be expensive, BUT had to go check. $67 MILLION EACH. That is $134 MILLION just for the 2 planes.
Wow.
Obviously, NO WAY that a person found guilty could be held liable for that.
But, at a minimum, will a pilot, found at fault, be held criminally liable? This has to be a crime ... right?
These are supposed to be the most electronically sophisticated of planes. But, NO collision detection alarms. Sounds strange.
There will be NO public investigation. Everything will be done, in secret, by the Navy.
A lot of money. Taxpayer money. SHAME.
