INEXCUSABLE British Flag BLUNDERS During King Charles' 4-Day Visit To The U.S.

Pretty amazing.

The U.S. HONOR GUARD at 'Arlington Cemetery' carried the British flag UPSIDE DOWN ahead of the King.

Wow.

They hung the Australian flag my MISTAKE on some streets in D.C.

Wow.

Yes, it is easy to get the orientation of the British flag, the Union Jack, wrong.

I still always need to look it up to be sure.

Not sure why the flag makers don't attach a tag that says 'This Way Up'.

Given that this happens quite a bit, you would think folks would MAKE SURE.

Really the FAULT of the British Embassy in D.C.

As the son of a longtime Ambassador I can tell you that for a fact.

Making sure that SCREW UPS like this do NOT occur is the job of the 'Protocol Officer' at the Embassy. The D.C. embassy must have an entire Protocol department. They should have liaised with all parties to avoid such stupid, inexcusable blunders. INEXCUSABLE.
