Is A 6-Inch Wooden Ruler A Good Marketing Gimmick In 2026?

I am asking? I do NOT know. Obviously, somebody is making them, for a fee, as a PROMOTIONAL ITEM for companies.

I would assume, in the scheme of things, that they cost less than other promotional items, e.g., a pen.

But, it struck me as funny.

Yes, I have seen small rulers (usually plastic) before -- but not in the past decade.

This ruler was being given out by a rather large New England Native American craft trading post -- at this weekend's Pow-Wow, in 'Warner', NH.

It had the Trading Post's name on it BUT I erased it in the above photo. I liked them & didn't want to 'embarrass' them. Maybe they would have preferred the additional free publicity. {Sorry}

I just wanted to share it because I thought it was incongruous -- but intriguing. 😇
