I KNEW he would react as soon as he became AWARE of the issue. You can RELY on him to take action.

ADMIT IT! Did I, or Did I Not, get it right. I know how the President thinks & is likely to react. 

YES, I was WORRIED that he would react by increasing tariffs.

That, however, is NOT the right penalty. The Canadians don't pay the tariffs. WE DO. Yes, it FURTHER suppresses demand on stuff we buy from Canada -- but it is NOT a DIRECT BURDEN on Canadians. 

We need to demand monetary compensation at ONCE. Hard cash ... on the nose.
