Though I am no longer doing any 'work' pertaining to the popes, I still like to stay somewhat abreast of what is happening at the Vatican. It is always interesting -- and often intriguing.
So, we now have an American Pope -- proving me wrong. But, that is. I can't get papal stuff right all the time.
I was curious as to what he would do today -- being American.
I knew he declined the invitation to be here for the day. That was a WISE DECISION. It would have been too much.
Yes, he wanted to SEND A MESSAGE.
He has. Not sure how many Americans are aware of how he sent the messages and what they conveyed. This is just a small attempt to give you a heads up. IF you are interested, check Google News.
Tomorrow, '4th of July' will be over. I can go back to cover other things.
Just wanted to wrap up today, ahead of the fireworks, with this papal post.
Happy 4th. The Pope will be in bed by now. Already the 5th at the Vatican.
😇
