'Crown Point State Historic Site', New York -- Sure Worth A Visit If You Are In 'Ticonderoga'.

➖➖➖➖

Wow! What a place. Actually it is 4 attractions co-joined, viz.:

1/ Crown Point State Historic Site in New York.

2/ Champlain Memorial Lighthouse (& Champlain Park) across the road from 1/ above.

3/ Lake Champlain Bridge, that you can easily walk across, right there.

4/ Chimney Point State Historic Site across the Bridge in Vermont.

Please try & watch the short video above.

So much HISTORY. So much to see.

Mind blowing views of Lake Champlain.

Walking across the Bridge is a BLAST.

Crown Point is about 18 miles north of Ticonderoga, NY -- & the famed Fort Ticonderoga.

IF you are visiting Ticonderoga it is DEFINITELY worthwhile making time to go see Crown Point.

The only issue is that you really need to spend at least 2 hours to get the most of this interlinked site.

A lady, born & bred in Ticonderoga, in the hospitality-business, was surprised that I planned to go to Crown Point. She said there are only ruins up there! 😆😂😀 People can be so funny.

I was there for close onto 4 hours. I walked about 3 miles. But I was in no hurry & I love history. I spent time at the cute little museum & picked the brain of the curator.

I highly recommend that you check out Crown Point.

I plan to GO BACK soon. That is how much I enjoyed it. So, please take note.

😇
