In these Time of Strife this Mutual Respect Between King Charles & The Pope Is Good To See.

Sorry! I have never forgiven Charles for 'Tampongate'. I am ENTITLED. I was a Brit. I think he was an ass. Now, getting close to 80, contending with cancer, he does appear a tad mature -- as he should.

He is NOT my King. He never will be. Actually after MY QUEEN I am basically done with Royalty. LoL. Back to where I was as a young adult. An anti-monarchist. 

So, it is not often I will say anything good about Charles. 

But he impressed me with this. So praise where praise is due.

I have long called for -- hoped for -- reconciliation between the two churches. The 'Church of England' is so artificial. The whim of a deranged, unprincipled, horny king -- even worse than Charles.

Bury the hatchet. Back to the Mothership. Wow.

This is all still just symbolic. Nothing will come of it. But at least they are talking, being FRIENDS and showing respect for each other. This was not so always.
