Vatican Nativity Scene (Approved By Pope) With Baby Jesus On An Arabic Headdress IS STUPID -- Not To Say Sacrilegious.

 

This is NOT right.

This is insulting, STUPID & above all SACRILEGIOUS.

Baby Jesus was definitely NOT 'Arabic' (in the sense that the Pope wants it portrayed).

Yes, of course, he was Middle Eastern. But he was not Palestinian in today's sense.

Baby Jesus was born Jewish. Of that there is no doubt or debate. He was supposedly even circumcised as Jewish male babies are expected to be.

He also DIED a Jew -- with a sign on the cross that said 'King of Jews'.

It is even OK, if you insist (& have a perverse understanding of history & religion) to call him Christian. 

But, there was NO WAY he was Muslim!

There is no point asking 'What was the Pope THINKING'?

The pope is no longer thinking. That is clear. He is past caring.

This is most likely the work of the ACTING Pope -- the Kissing Cardinal.
