'Get Out The LED' ('Led Zep' Tribute) Concert, 'Capitol Center for the Arts', 'Concord', NH -- ROCKED!

As with the 'Zach Nugent' 'Grateful Dead' tribute concert last month, I was volunteering at this concert. So, I didn't chose to attend per se. I went because they needed volunteers.

Just as with the Zach concert I had NO idea as to what to expect. As with the Dead, I was NOT big into Led Zep. But, I had a better 'familiarity' with their songs than I had with the Dead. I am fairly sure I had ONE of their LPs -- I think the first. I checked the other day, & it is not one of the 30 or so LPs I had kept. In my heyday in the 1980s I had upwards of 600 LPs.

The concert was GOOD. Very good. I was amazed. I was impressed. The audience loved it. They gave quite the performance. Very professional.

As with Zach, there was an astounding drum solo -- though I think (& I could be wrong) that the Zach one was better, though these folks did a much better job with the lights.

Yes, the lightshow was slick. Very good. Not sure whether it was 'realistic', i.e., similar to what Led did, but it was good.

Three times the audience size to what Zach got -- but Zach was (crazily) right after Christmas. The timing for this was Goldilocks. Just as people wanted to get going after the New Year.

Interesting. With Zach the (much smaller) audience was up on their feet from the very minute they started. Not so last night. Took a while for a few to stand up & in the end less than 10% did -- & most of those with seats at the front.

But, no doubt that the audience LOVED it. I always like to see that. They had a ball. They left happy.

I liked it. Recognized TWO songs. WOW. That was good.
