Happy JULIAN New Year 2025 -- Yes, It Is New Year For Some. [Come Celebrate]

While I am uber familiar with Orthodox Christmas & Easter being celebrated per the Julian calendar I had never given much thought that this would also apply, of course, to New Year as well.

However, this morning, I heard on 'BBC News', which I listen to multiple times a day on 'Sirius XM' that a very remote Scottish island (viz., 'Foula') was celebrating New Year per the Julian calendar. That was mega neat.

Wow. Enjoyed that. Wanted to share it with you.

Another New Year (for the Year) that we can celebrate. As far as I am concerned the more the better.

Soon we will have Chinese New Year.

Then Sinhalese New Year!

I celebrate those.

So, with the Julian I have 4 New Years.
