I Got A 3D Raised Relief Map Of 'Acadia National Park' From 'RaisedRelief'. Love It!

I have always loved 3D relief maps. This is the first one I have ever owned. [Though I love it, it probably will also be my only. Other than 'Mount Desert Island' (MDI) (in 'Acadia') my interest in no other geography is high enough to warrant the cost -- though to be fair this map was not that expensive (by any measure).]

There used to be a LARGE relief map, a much bigger version of what I got, at the 'Hulls Cove' Visitor Center in Acadia. My daughters & I used to love it and spent a lot of time around it.

Now I can study it in more detail, though on a smaller (but still adequate) scale.

The complex topography of eastern MDI (west of 'Eagle Lake') with 4 mountain ranges running in parallel still gets me confused. See image above. I am hoping this map will help me get this sorted out once and for all.

I am impressed with this map. Exceeded expectations. It was the cheapest I could find. Took a few days to ship but it takes them at least 3 days to make each one because it appears they have to heat and cool the plastic. I definitely recommend it.
