He, i.e., Francis, doesn't look well. Actually he looks dreadful -- unnaturally bloated. But, his resilience is quite amazing. 2nd oldest known pope! Wow.

I have given up being a pope expert. Just don't have the time nor patience.

Plus, I have a fairly good idea who the next pope will be -- post the December 7, 2024, consistory at which he created 20 cardinal electors.

The Francis camp now has unassailable majority. They can elect whoever they want.

I suspect it will either be Luis Tagle (67) or Victor Manuel Fernández (62). They are both very young but they are the pope's favorites and as such anointed.

That the pope still hasn't fixed the 120 cardinal elector limit is a concern. We are currently 18 over that limit. This could be a problem & could lead to a schism.
