'Adolescence' Mini-Series On 'Netflix' Overrated -- Downhill, Rapidly, After The 1st Episode.

I watched it, quite a few days ago, as soon as it was available on 'Netflix'.

The first episode was BRILLIANT. Classic British Detective Cop. Both the detectives were good, he, however, was the LEAD. Reminded me of 'Vera' (& that is saying SOMETHING).

I really had high hopes after that. As far as I was concerned it went downhill after that first episode. It wasn't bad. It was decent, but it had lost the 'edge'.

I saw/heard that folks were raving about it. I wasn't sure it warranted all that. It was OK, maybe even borderline good -- BUT, I didn't think it was great. Episode 1, however, was.

Well, that is my take. By all means watch it -- even if it is just for that first episode.
