King Charles To Meet With Pope Francis, At The Vatican, Apr. 8, 2025 -- They Both Seem Eager. Maybe Hoping For MIRACLE Blessings.

Yes, Charles' state visit to Italy & the Vatican has been on the docks for many months. So this is not a hastily arranged visit. But it seems the pope is assuring Buckingham Palace that he will be out of hospital and back in the Vatican by April 8. He has already been in hospital 5 weeks -- so that is probably a fair expectations.

What is kind of funny is that they BOTH seem very eager for this visit to happen.

Yes, it will be the first time Charles, as King, has met with Francis. They have met before when he was but the Prince-in-Waiting.

They are BOTH heads of their respective church -- Church of England & the Universal Catholic Church. But, I get the feeling, rightly or wrongly, that each is HOPING that the other can give them a blessing to cure their woes. I haven't seen Charles do blessings, but he is the titular head of the CoE.

Either way God, of course, hasn't been kind to either of them. I think he likes having fun with those that claim to be his vicars on earth.

Well, I am not in the blessing business but I wish them both the best. They deserve that.

April 8th isn't that far away. 

Should be an interesting meeting. Pope most likely will be in a wheelchair.
