Yesterday's post on the first of the two new CX-30s.
< > < > < > < > < >
Well, I had the first 'Aero Grey' Mazda CX-30 for all of about 90-minutes. After I activated 'Sirius XM' on it the radio started playing up. I was still in the neighborhood so I went back to the dealership. The salesman tried to fix it. He then drove it to service. Came back & told me that it was a temporary problem with the Sirius satellites.
HE LIED TO THE WRONG PERSON.
I know my Sirius better than most given how much I use it.
I pulled up Sirius on my phone PLUS told him that we will go to another car & try it. I had called his BLUFF.
He offered to give me a loaner while they tried to fix my new one!
Yes, he consulted with his management MULTIPLE times while I stood around.
They must have felt guilty. Knew they had been caught out in a lie.
They offered me another new car -- this DARKER gray one.
It had been offered to me the previous day too, BUT I preferred the lighter one. Now I relented.
Then they started 'joking' that the darker grey was a MORE EXPENSIVE paint job. Well, I didn't ask for it. It was offered to me twice.
I took it. Had to do the paperwork AGAIN & I hate that ritual. Such a waste of time.
Took another 40 minutes I would say.
I was there for too long.
So, I took the dark grey home.
Today, I was getting it set up when the radio stopped working on this TOO. Screw that for a game of soldiers. I am just going to use my phone. I don't have time.
Screw Mazda.
Screw the dealership!
I have had enough.
Damn cars. No wonder I prefer to walk.
The saga continues.
DREADING, already, having to replace my 'Volvo XC60' this fall.
😇
